About.

Pooja Sinha

I am focused on designing digital experience and making people's life easier with my design powers.

About me

Design has always been an part of my life. I remember getting really excited when participating in drawing and poster making during my school and college life (won a few of them).
As a profession, it all started for me when one of my friend suggested me to make merch art for his business. I was studying Botany at that time and was in first year of my college. After that project, I started exploring more about design and sometime during my final year, I started with UI/UX design. Here I am now.
It wouldn't have been possible without the support I got from design community and now I am trying to give back to the community through my design and blog posts.

When I am not working, I like to experiment with webflow, like this website. My other hobbies include solving chess puzzles, discovering new games and reading books. Currently reading - The art of thinking clearly by Rolf Dobelli

Experience

Product designer, caring company, sydney

Currently working at Caring Company as a Healthcare Product Designer, building product that makes healthcare easier for providers and healthcare workers.

Freelancer, 2016 - 2019

During this period I did projects on a diverse range from making t-shirt designs and wedding invites to writing content and managing social media for client, all while managing my college studies on the side. Learnt how important an effective communication is and how to work under deadlines.

Volunteer work

I worked as a teacher for 5 months during my first year in college. I was the class teacher for a strength of 50, and the youngest teacher in the school. I found my passion for teaching during that phase. I learnt a lot from that experience.
